You will be received by our representative driver and will be safely driven to Tengapani Eco Resort In Arunachal Pradesh which is 123 km from Dibrugarh/Imphal and takes about 3 Hrs 30mins .On arrival, check-in the Resort for an overnight stay in Tengapani and enjoy the night ambience at the Golden Pagoda adjacent. Have dinner and enjoy an overnight stay at the resort.
After Breakfast you would be driven to Parasuram Kund via the beautiful orange producing town of Wakro (In season time you can stop over to enjoy the small town full of Orange Cultivation). It will take about 1 hrs 30 min and is 64 Km away.At Parasurm Kund you could go down to kund and absorb the sheer power and beauty of the crystal clear flowing waters. Whole day you can enjoy the lofty mountains and spent quality time on the river bank. This place is also a photographers delight. After Tea we would proceed to Sivsagar Town in Assam amd check in Hotel.
Sivsagar, the once capital of the Ahom Dynasty which ruled Assam for over 600 years until the arrival of the British. Located in the area are several ancient monuments, temples and palaces, all testament to the architectural skills of the Ahoms.Some of the most popular places here include a water tank called Bhorpukhuri along with Joysagar, a man-made lake, Ahom Museum, Rudrasagar tank and temples, Gaurisagar tank and temples. One can also visit the Kareng Ghar and the Rang Ghar.After that we transfer you to Mokokchung, The beautiful town in Nagaland.
After breakfast we drive to Tuensang, the largest district of Nagaland, which borders Myanmar in the east. Located in the foot hills of Mount Saramati - the highest peak in Nagaland, Tuensang is a region of outstanding natural beauty with lush valleys and rugged hills. The main Naga tribes of the region are the Chang, Yimchunger, Khiamungan, Sangtam and Phom Nagas, each with their own colourful dress and rich cultural heritage. After the tour of Tuesang we return back to Mokochung and stay for the night.
After breakfast you are transferred to Kohima and on reaching checkin at Hotel. We then take a sightseeing tour of Kohima, the capital of Nagaland. The main tribe in the area are the Angami but there are also both the Rengma and Zeilang tribes here too. The village also has a World War II memorial which is well worth a visit. The state museum of Kohima is a great place to learn more about the Naga tribes and their unique ways of life. The War cemetery is one of the best in India and photographers delight.
